Sherardizing, also referred to as diffusion galvanizing.

Sherardizing creates a coating with multifunctional properties which are clearly different from other types of surface treatment.

Two key differences with other galvanizing methods:
- The process means it is technically impossible for hydrogen embrittlement to occur.
- The thickness of the zinc layer can be adjusted, and the layer is uniform, hard and wear resistant.

Sherart offers combinations with top coatings, known as duplex systems, for functional applications and applications in very aggressive environments.
